California Governor Newsom lifted the stay-at-home-order today. State officials say it is because the state’s battle against COVID-19 has improved.
So what does this mean for Disneyland? Outdoor dining in the Downtown Disney District can resume!
Shopping and take-out dining has been available at the Disneyland Resort but now, the dining locations can offer outdoor dining again.
Governor Newsom says all Southern California counties remain in the most restrictive COVID tier but some operations can resume.
“We’re seeing a flattening of the curve, everything that should be up is up, everything that should be down is down, case rates, positivity rates, hospitalizations, ICUs, testing is starting to go back up, as well as vaccination rates in this state, but we are not out of the woods,” Newsom said.
Disney has not yet announced what Downtown Disney dining locations, if any, will be reopening so stay tuned!
