I didn’t know what to expect with these Bubble Waffles but they immediately went to the top of “My favorite Disney desserts” list. There are two varieties: Strawberry and Salted Carmel. Don’t be fooled… the Salted Carmel contains a lot of chocolate. They are definitely large enough to share! The waffle is soft, warm and delicious, like a thin Belgian waffle almost.
Let’s start with the Strawberry Bubble Waffle. Topped with fresh strawberries and crispy strawberry pearls this waffle was fresh and delicious. The warm bubble waffle sits on the bottom covered by some of the best vanilla ice cream on property and fresh whipped cream. It is the summer version of a strawberry shortcake.
Next is the Salted Caramel Bubble Waffle. This bubble waffle is garnished with chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, crispy caramel pearls, caramel drizzle, and chocolate covered pretzels. Definitely a different vibe than the strawberry but also really tasty.
These bubble waffles can be found at the AristoCrêpes kiosk on the bridge at Disney Springs close to Rainforest Cafe. They are $8.99 each and do not qualify as a Disney snack credit. There are other crêpes and edible cookie dough here that also would be a great snack option.
