Breaking: We now know the name of the new Jurassic World Coaster at Universal Orlando!
Hold on to your butts, Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Jurassic World VelociCoaster, is opening in summer 2021. We have been updating on progress of the newest thrill ride to hit Islands of Adventure and we are so excited to have an official name. Fans have speculated that it would be called VelociCoaster and it is now confirmed.
Universal released a statement about the coaster, “Step into Jurassic Park and stand in awe and wonder at a land transformed by science after 65 million years. But don’t be deceived by the island’s beauty because danger lurks behind every corner. Only here can you live the adventure of coming face to face with giant creatures of the Earth’s past, encounter raptors roaming every day, or take a daring raft expedition through jungles teeming with dinosaurs.”
The same company that brought us Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure is bringing us Jusrassic World VelociCoaster and we can not wait until next summer. We will continue to being whatever updates we can with this amazing new thrill ride. There’s not a set day yet but we will count the days until Summer 2021!
