We got some breaking news from a Team Member at Universal Orlando that as soon as the brand new Jurassic Park roller coaster opens the Jurassic Park River Adventure will immediately close for refurbishment. The Jurassic Park River Adventure will be transformed to be like the ride over at Universal Studios in Hollywood.
Jurassic World the Ride over at Universal Studios Hollywood was refurbished last year. It had a total update and has new screens and video elements but still a water ride like the original.
While these rumors haven’t been confirmed by Universal Orlando yet we hope the Team Member was correct with this news. It would definitely seem they are going in a Jurassic World direction with the new coaster. The River Adventure is also in desperate need of an upgrade.
