Earlier this morning at Walt Disney World an automobile accident occurred near Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort involving a Disney World bus (not the one pictured above) that resulted in fatality of the driver Amelia Davis.
Florida State Troopers said that a car ran a red light early Monday and drove right into the path of Disney bus carrying about 20 passengers. The bus hit the left side of Davis’ car at the intersection, sending it spinning into the right side of the second vehicle. Everyone on the bus and in the second car are fine. However the driver of the car that ran the red light passed away at the hospital. Amelia Davis was a 29 year old female from Windermere.
We send our condolences to the family.
Wishing you Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust
Maria

She was a Disney cast member and my daughters best friend. This is a tragic loss. She had just completed her shift on the front desk of the Coronado.
All that matters is that someone has died tragically. And there is a family that will never be the same again!
It almost sounds like she might have been a Disney cast member from where she lived and being where she was, by herself. Maybe rushing to or from work? Just speculating.
