Marvel fans are certainly excited to see Namor the Sub-Mariner join the MCU!
The panel at last week’s San Diego Comic Con confirmed that Tenoch Huerta is playing Namor the Sub-Mariner in the film. However, Marvel Studios is making a major change to the location. Within the MCU, the location of Namor’s home won’t be called Atlantis. Instead it pull inspiration from Aztec mythology and will be called Talocan in live-action.
Another wonderful detail is that the MCU Namor will be sporting a comics accurate appearance. Huerta’s Namor has wings on his ankles, so he should be able to fly in the movie. Not much is known about the character’s motives in the movie, but it will be fun to see his debut in the MCU.
