Bill Burr Set to Return for Season 2 of ‘The Mandalorian‘. The cast for season 2 of The Mandalorian continues to grow! Recently announced newcomers include Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Michael Biehn in a mysterious role as a bounty hunter from Dyn Jarren’s (Mando’s) past.

Rumored to return to the mega-popular Disney+ series is Bill Burr who played the quick to anger mercenary named Mayfield in Season 1 Episode 6 of the series.

Deadline shared the news exclusively stating: “Deadline has confirmed all The Mandalorian season 2 noise out there: Michael Biehn has joined, with stand-up comedian Bill Burr returning as his season one character of Imperial sharpshooter-turned-mercenary Mayfield.”

It will be very interesting to see how the character returns after the events of Episode 6, my guess is he won’t be too happy with “Mando” and may be working with other adversaries. We’ll have to wait for his return though after Season 2 of The Mandalorian begins streaming exclusively on Disney+ this October!
