Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Now Closed for Refurbishment

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom is now closed for refurbishment. The attraction closed yesterday for routine maintenance and will reopen on February 19, 2022.

Guests will not be able to take a ride on the “wildest ride in the wilderness” until Saturday.

The entrance and exit to the attraction is blocked off while the refurbishment is happening. There is a sign up stating “Notice, mine Closed!” and “Mountain Goat Infestation!”
