Big Delays for Disney Movie Schedule Due to Writers Strike
Amidst the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, Disney Shuffles Release Dates for Upcoming Films according to Deadline.
Notably, Marvel’s “Avengers: Kang Dynasty” has been shifted from May 2025 to May 2026, while “Avengers: Secret Wars” is now slated for 2027.
Other Marvel projects like “Blade,” “Captain America: Brave New World” (recently renamed), and “Thunderbolts” have also been affected, with the latter experiencing production halts due to the WGA strike.
On the bright side, “Deadpool 3” has actually been moved up from November 8, 2024, to May 3, 2024.

Furthermore, fans of the “Avatar” franchise will have to wait a little longer, as the release dates for the next three films have been delayed.
In addition to the adjustments, untitled “Alien” and “Star Wars” films have been added to Disney’s release schedule, adding to the excitement and anticipation for future cinematic adventures.
