Featuring a vibrant cast of nearly 30 beloved characters from various Pixar films, the daytime parade “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” first premiered at Disney California Adventure during Pixar Fest in 2024 and has been confirmed to return as part of the exciting Disneyland 70th anniversary festivities.

The “Better Together” parade kicks off with a whimsical float resembling an oversized Luxo Jr. lamp, playfully adorned with stickers referencing the Pixar films featured. A notable update to the parade is the “Turning Red” float, now proudly displaying a large pink sign with yellow lettering that reads “Live Red Panda Mei.”

The adventure continues with the “Up!” float, where Russell hitches a ride on Kevin. Carl stands proudly atop a structure bursting with blue and purple blooms, with Dug playfully positioned at the back. The energy shifts as the parade moves into the “Soul” section, marked by a float filled with the spirited musicians who represent Joe Gardner’s students.

Beyond the “Turning Red” addition, “Better Together” has also refreshed the “Inside Out” float. The memory orbs beneath Joy and Sadness now showcase a noticeably brighter palette with a wider range of shades, perhaps teasing the expanded emotional landscape of “Inside Out 2.” Continuing the parade’s journey through Pixar stories, the next float vividly recreates the town of Portorosso from “Luca,” featuring Giulia riding her scooter over a wave while Luca and Alberto are playfully immersed in the water.

Following the high-energy appearance of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone in their individual “Incredibles” vehicles, the parade transitions to the heartwarming world of “Toy Story.” Here, Woody takes center stage, perched within a yellow toy dump truck creatively painted with cloud motifs and sprinkled with memorable quotes from the films.

The grand finale of the parade is a vibrant float embracing the collective spirit of Pixar. Featuring the recognizable Luxo ball on both ends, this float unites a charming assortment of characters from different Pixar adventures, such as Miguel from “Coco,” the dynamic duo of Buzz Lightyear and Jessie from “Toy Story,” and the beloved monster pals Mike and Sully from “Monsters Inc.”

Even as Disneyland prepares for its seasonal Halloween and Christmas offerings, leading to a temporary pause for “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” and “Wondrous Journeys” (both slated to return), the park’s 70th Anniversary Celebration will continue to delight visitors all the way through the summer of 2026.
