It has been revealed that the upcoming Disney+ show featuring Gaston and LaFou from Beauty and the Beast finally has a name!
“I’m excited about the projects I’m doing,” Alan Menken told Variety. “I’m working on Disenchanted and a new Beauty and the Beast prequel, The Little Town. I’ve also been working on the new animated picture Spellbound with John Lasseter. And I’m doing a bunch of Broadway shows.”
The Little Town will feature Josh Gad as LaFou and Luke Evans as Gaston and is actually in the first song sung by Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
The upcoming show will also feature several new songs from Alan Menken, who also created new songs for the live-action Beauty and the Beast.
The series is currently in development and details are pretty scarce. Hopefully, Emma Watson will make an appearance in this all-new show.
