The Bahamas has issued an emergency order that requires all cruise lines wishing to stop at a Bahamian port to provide a crew and passenger manifest ahead of calling to the Port Medical Officer, disclosing the vaccination status of all aboard. Also, all passengers age 12 and up must be fully vaccinated and health protocols previously submitted by the cruise line need to be approved.

This new ruling applies to all ports in the Bahamas including private islands like Disney’s Castaway Cay. Disney Cruise Line currently requires proof of a negative Covid test in order for passengers to sail.

With Florida banning vaccination passports, this new ruling could cause issues for some cruise lines. Disney Cruise Line has not made any announcement regarding the Bahamas so stay tuned for more information!

  1. Can you tell me what this means for Australian residents? The vaccination we have here is not an approved USA vaccination
So does it mean it has to be a particular type of covid vaccination??
