Costa Alavezos
Costa Alavezos graduated from the Art Academy of San Francisco and embarked on a 30 year career in illustration. A Senior Character Artist for Disney Design Group since June 1997, Costa has created figurines, paintings and vintage sketches for Disney galleries. In addition to ornaments inspired by Disney Villains, Pixar Characters and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Costa is project champion for Pixar related “hard line” products and new merchandise for the Disneyland® Paris attraction inspired by Disney•Pixar’s Ratatouille.
Tim McCloskey
Tim McCloskey is a sculpture artist who blends the elements of nature with high-tech ideals. Tim is actually colorblind—his artwork reflects his unique perspective, often focused on the interplay between light, texture and dimension. Born and raised in rural Central Pennsylvania, he studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Temple University, and he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Messiah College in 2001. Tim moved to Orlando in 2004 to work for The Walt Disney Company as a digital interactive developer. Today, he continues to bring the magic of Disney to life—both online and through his artwork.
Randy Noble
Randy attended college at California Institute of the Arts, a private Arts school subsidized by The Walt Disney Company. During his second year of college, he was hired to produce character art and new show development for D.I.C. Animation. Randy worked on numerous television shows, was a comedy writer for MGM Studios, and also produced a variety of illustrations and design work for toy companies. After leaving California in 1995, he continued his freelance work in Florida. In 1998, he began a new career as Senior Artist with Disney Design Group and oversees the creative for art and collectible locations in both Florida and California. He also helped develop the new Vinylmation™ collectible and works with many of the special event art in the parks.
Joe Kaminski
Eleven years ago, Joe Kaminski became a writer for Yellow Shoes Creative Group—Disney’s internal ad agency for its many Parks and Resorts around the globe. Surrounded by a world of creative Disney influences, Joe began utilizing found office supplies, teaching himself to draw and paint Disney Characters. He would often post his creations around the office, hoping to get a reaction from all the talented Disney artists and art directors roaming the halls. It wasn’t long until Joe began receiving various compliments and praise from his fellow Cast Members. Thanks to all of his hard work and dedication, Joe’s relentless efforts eventually paid off. He has won six Disney Festival of the Masters art competitions. His work is featured in the Art of Disney galleries, and he is also a proud member of the Disney Cruise Line gallery of artists.
