There haven’t been many updates for the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series ‘Armor Wars‘, but now we know when the series will begin filming! According to My Cosmic Circus’ Lizzie Hill, the series will begin production in October or November 2022.

Comedian and screenwriter Yassir Lester officially signed on as the head writer for the series and Don Cheadle will be reprising his role as Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes. Cheadle previously shared that events in the Disney+ series will set off the Armor Wars storyline from the comics within the MCU. Cheadle’s confirmation was featured in an interview with BroBible, where he shared: “It’s really a fun and interesting and, by all imagination, completely open-ended — this can go anywhere. It’s great, I can’t wait to get in the room with the writers and figure out how all those things [Armor Wars in the MCU] happen. You know, Rhodey shows up in Winter Soldier and Falcon’s show. So, it can be a lot.”
