Andy’s Coming Moment Returning to Roundup Rodeo BBQ. Rustle up some tasty BBQ fare at this western-themed restaurant where you’ll see the world through the eyes of Andy’s toys. Due to open March 23rd, 2023.
A few years ago, a viral moment in the Disney community was an image and story of characters, Jessie and Woody, from Pixar’s Toy Story, falling to the ground after someone yelled “Andy’s Coming”. They would fall to the ground because Andy was a little boy, and Jessie and Woody were toys. To not give away that these characters could walk and talk, they would fall to the ground and act like toys.
This apparently was just a staged image, and unfortunately led to many guests yelling “Andy’s Coming” at the characters in Toy Story Land, or wherever they would see the characters to no avail.
Now it appears this viral moment has come to the new Roundup Rodeo BBQ. Without spoiling the whole thing, you can watch the video below. There is a chance that while eating at the newest restaurant to open at Walt Disney World, characters will yell out “Andy’s Coming”. At this point, everyone in the restaurant is supposed to stay quiet, until Andy goes back to wherever he came from.
I mean it’s obvious Andy is around somewhere in Toy Story Land since we do see his footsteps all over the area. We just never see him.
