Both Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey have shared individual posts on Instagram revealing they are now in Ireland for the filming of Disney’s Disenchanted, the sequel to their 2007 film Enchanted. After problems begin to arise, Giselle makes a wish to transform their lives into a perfect fairytale. However, the spell backfires dramatically and puts Giselle in a rush against the clock to save both her family and her Kingdom of Andalasia before the clock strikes midnight.”
Disenchanted is currently slotted to premiere exclusively on Disney+ at a to-be-determined date and has begun filming in Ireland. The film will star Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel in their respective roles as Giselle, Robert, Prince Edward, and Nancy Tremaine, along with new cast members Maya Rudolph (Potentially Malvina Monroe), Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jayma Mays in unspecified roles.
