We have sad news to report this morning… According to a post by Attractions Magazine Ample Hills Creamery at both the Disney’s Boardwalk Area and the proposed location at Disney Springs have closed for good.
Here is the information they posted yesterday…
“Prior to the acquisition, the Disney agreement with Ample Hills creamery ended (back in January),” the company spokesperson said. “As a result, Ample Hills will close at Disney’s BoardWalk and the proposed Ample Hills location at Disney Springs will not open later this year.”
Many fans were hopeful that they would bounce back after declaring bankruptcy earlier this year.
The Disney Springs website still shows that they are Coming Soon.
Meanwhile, the Disney World website shows that they are Temporarily Unavailable.
Stay tuned for the official word from the new owners saying they are closing the Disney World locations for good…
If you are missing Ample Hills you can still order their product online, or visit one of their New York locations.
