Universal Orlando Updates Face Mask Policy To Include Eating And Drinking

Universal Orlando released some new face mask rules and regulations yesterday. Since they reopened back in June guests have had to wear face masks but they have gotten more specific about the kind and when you can remove them.

The first changes are the type of face mask. It looks like Gators and the fishing style face coverings will no longer be acceptable masks at Universal. The face masks need to be two-ply and secured with ear loops. They also can not have the valves.

Also an important change is they will be enforcing a change that you can no longer walk around and have your mask down even if you are eating and drinking. You must be social distanced and actively eating and drinking to have your mask down. This will really help with guests walking with masks down with a drink in hand. Walt Disney World has recently enforced the same standards after the opening of their parks.

If you don’t have one of these types of masks Universal sells them for $6 or four for $20. They have a bunch of fun styles to choose from.
