All New Rémy Area at EPCOT’s France Pavilion Decorated for Christmas

Rémy the rat topiary in France Pavilion at EPCOT

Joyeux Noël! The new Rémy (Ratatouille) area in EPCOT’s France Pavilion has gotten some Christmas décor and it has us wishing we were in Paris this holiday season! Is it just me, or do you smell chestnuts roasting just looking at this?

The seasonal touches are mostly festive wreaths and winding or draped garlands. A sheen of metallic color sets the elegant tone as it covers the ornaments, bows, and poinsettias. The decor is a perfect balance of extravagance and class for the France Pavilion

In case you hadn’t noticed, EPCOT is usually the last place in Walt Disney World to be decked for the holidays. This is because the Food and Wine Festival lasted through November 20th. The Festival of the Holidays has just begun on November 26th, and the park was decorated in time to celebrate. It will end after December 30th, 2021.

The Festival of the Holidays is probably my favorite EPCOT festival, and I love them all. There’s something magical about Disney World at Christmas, and enjoying Christmas around the World Showcase is comforting and traditional. If you haven’t tried the Holiday Cookie Stroll yet, be sure to grab a Festival Passport and get all five stamps! Your reward is a special Christmas cookie. Another Festival favorite is the Candlelight Processional, where you’ll hear the Christmas story told by a celebrity narrator, as well as classic carols sung by a choir.

No matter what brings you to EPCOT this season, pay a visit to Rémy the rat and glimpse the masterfully decorated France Pavilion. You may never spend Christmas in Paris, but you can dream of it at EPCOT!
