Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing for the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on August 29th. The land has been open for cast member previews only. However, Disney has released an aerial photo of Galaxy’s Edge that are making future guests even more eager to visit.
Starting August 29th guests will finally get the chance to immerse themselves in all that the planet of Batuu has to offer. Guests will get to take flight aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. This interactive ride experience is unlike anything in the entire galaxy.
Guests visiting the Black Spire Outpost will get to enjoy many different experiences. Reserve your spot now to build your own droid at the Droid Depot. You can also reserve time to make your own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. Both of these interactive experiences are available for early reservations through Walt Disney World’s My Disney Experience Mobile system.
Travelers wandering around Galaxy’s Edge will also get the chance to grab a refreshment at Oga’s Cantina. Select a reservation time for the cantina and try a series of fun and interesting concoctions.
Guests will get to enjoy all of this and more when Florida’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29th.
