Actor Ned Beatty has just passed away at the age of 83. Best known for his role as Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear in Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3.
He also portrayed the Duke of Bridgewater in Back to Hannibal: The Return of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, Wally Higgins in Road to Avonlea, and Warden Wyatt in He Got Game.
He is most known for playing Bobby Trippe in the movie Deliverance with Burt Reynolds. Beatty received only one Oscar nomination, as a supporting actor for his role as corporate executive Arthur Jensen in 1976′s “Network.”
Beatty died Sunday of natural causes at his Los Angeles home according to his daughter Blossom Beatty.
