Today, The Walt Disney Company and Miral announced plans for Abu Dhabi’s first Disney theme park resort, celebrated with a stunning drone and fireworks show over Yas Island. The event at Yas Links, set against the waterfront, was attended by celebrities like Tyrese Gibson and Naomi Campbell and featured performances by pianist Lang Lang, Emirati singer Rashed Alnuaimi, Kerry Ellis, and Sonya Balsara.

This new destination project will be Disney’s seventh theme park resort worldwide and will connect travelers from the Middle East to Africa, India, Asia, Europe, and beyond.
