Eating fresh food fast is a lifestyle, and in recent years it has become synonymous with eateries like Jamba Juice. The chain has become popular with health fiends and smoothie-lovers in particular, but have expanded their menu enough to warrant a change of name to just Jamba. “But what does this have to do with Disney?” you may ask. This name swap has inspired renovations at their location in Disneyland Resort‘s Downtown Disney District and we are all ready to check it out.
The shop will close sometime later this year to make way for a whole new look, inspired by the natural lifestyle Jamba ascribes to. The style is meant to look colorful and organic, with touches of wood. Their expanded menu will include more juices and smoothies, as well as bowls. The menus will be available digitally and guests can make their orders online through the Jamba mobile app.
Although smoothie shops have grown in popularity and availability, Jamba Juice has been an above-the-crowd staple for the health-conscious community. They first opened their doors in 1990 at a small shop in San Luis Obispo, California. They’ve brought power to the idea that eating healthy can be fast and taste good. It’s no wonder they fit right in at Downtown Disney District, where many travelers are looking to escape the fast burger option in favor of something lighter but equally mobile.
We can’t wait to see the changes coming to Jamba’s store over at Disneyland Resort. But more importantly, we can’t wait to taste the changes. How about you?
