Halloween Horror Nights is jumping from the fog-filled streets of Universal Studios into Fortnite, with two familiar faces joining this year’s Fortnitemares lineup. Jack the Clown and HamiKuma have both been revealed as upcoming additions to the game, giving HHN fans a chance to bring a little theme park terror onto the Battle Bus. Epic Games confirmed that Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights outfits and accessories will arrive during October as part of the 2026 Fortnitemares event.
Jack appears in his signature colorful clown suit with bright orange hair, while HamiKuma brings his delightfully disturbing look to the game with candy spilling from his exposed stomach, plaid collar, blue tie, and one eye dangling from his head. The pair appeared in the new Fortnitemares gameplay trailer released alongside the October 1 update. Current reporting indicates the HHN skins are expected to hit the Fortnite Item Shop on October 5.
They are joining a seriously stacked spooky-season roster. Fortnitemares 2026 includes collaborations with Five Nights at Freddy’s, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, The Purge, Slender Man, Black Clover, Hazbin Hotel, Hollow Knight, Predator: Badlands, Obsession, and more. Epic says the new characters and cosmetics will roll out throughout October, while the event itself includes new locations, weapons, returning Horde Rush gameplay, and plenty of Halloween chaos.
The crossover feels especially fitting this year, since Fortnite already has a physical presence at Halloween Horror Nights with Fortnitemares scare zones at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood. Now Jack and HamiKuma are making the return trip into the digital world, giving HHN collectors another way to celebrate spooky season long after they leave the fog.
