Disney Bros Cartoon Studio Square Day Block Party Announced
The Disney Bros. legacy is taking center stage in Los Angeles! Back in 1923, two brothers from the Midwest—Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney—moved to Los Angeles with a bold dream to entertain the world with groundbreaking animation. They officially founded the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio out of the back of a small real estate office in the Los Feliz neighborhood. While The Walt Disney Company has since grown into a global entertainment powerhouse, its historic journey started right there on Kingswell Avenue.
To honor that rich history, the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council, the Los Feliz Village Business Improvement District, and Los Angeles City Council District 4 are coming together to host a neighborhood celebration marking the 2nd anniversary of Disney Bros. Cartoon Studio Square!

The entire community is invited to head out to Los Feliz for a fun-filled afternoon celebrating the birthplace of Disney animation.
