Sandy Claws has officially made his triumphant return to Disneyland Park! Haunted Mansion Holiday is back for the 2026 fall and winter seasons, bringing The Nightmare Before Christmas takeover to New Orleans Square.

Following a short closure to install the seasonal overlay, Jack Skellington and his Halloween Town crew have completely transformed the iconic manor once again.

Before you even step foot inside your Doom Buggy, the exterior of the Haunted Mansion is packed with festive details:

• A ribbon-style Haunted Mansion Holiday sign greets guests at the entrance gates.
• Jack Skellington, decked out in his Sandy Claws outfit, perches atop a jack-o’-lantern on one of the entrance columns.
• Festive garlands, dangling mathematical Christmas equations, and spiderweb candelabras adorn the mansion’s balconies, while the hearse out front is wrapped in seasonal greenery topped with a Santa hat jack-o’-lantern.

All-New 2026 Gingerbread House Centerpiece

While many elements of the classic holiday overlay return year after year, the true highlight for Disney fans is always the brand-new, original gingerbread creation inside the Grand Ballroom.

For 2026, the gingerbread display takes the shape of a giant music box modeled after the Haunted Mansion itself. The impressive structure features a winding key on the side with Jack Skellington’s face—showing Santa Jack on one side and regular Jack on the other. As music plays, a skeleton cookie ballerina emerges from the roof and spins, creating a magnificent centerpiece for the banquet table!

Once inside the ride, guests will find all their favorite holiday-themed scenes intact:

• Jack & Zero take over for the Caretaker and his dog in the cemetery entrance, offering special holiday “presents.”
• Sally rests her head on a gravestone, pining after Jack as you enter the graveyard scene filled with singing jack-o’-lanterns.
• Oogie Boogie greets riders at the end of the journey, wearing a candy-encrusted beard and a pointed Santa hat while spinning his wheel of tricks and treats to bestow a holiday “gift” into your Doom Buggy mirror.
• A tiny Sally bids everyone farewell as you step off the doom buggy and head up the exit ramp.

Haunted Mansion Holiday will remain open continuously throughout both Halloween Time and the Christmas season at Disneyland, running through early January 2027.
