Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort is officially here, and that means one of the absolute best fall traditions has returned: Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit!

Running from August 21 through October 31, 2026 (or while supplies last), this family-favorite seasonal scavenger hunt takes guests across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District to hunt for hidden Disney character-themed pumpkins.

Whether you are a seasoned pumpkin hunter or trying it out for the first time, here is everything you need to know about the 2026 pursuit—including where to buy your maps and this year’s adorable prize!

Playing is simple, fun for all ages, and a great way to explore the parks and Downtown Disney at your own pace:

1. Pick Up Your Map: Purchase a game board and stickers for $11.99 (plus tax) at participating retail locations throughout the resort.
2. Search for Gourds: Keep your eyes peeled for 13 hidden decorative pumpkins sculpted to look like iconic Disney characters.
3. Sticker & Redeem: Match the corresponding character sticker to the location on your map. Once complete—or whenever you’re ready—turn in your map to claim your prize! (Note: You do not have to find all 13 pumpkins to redeem your keepsake!)

This year’s prize is guaranteed to be a huge hit with collectors! Upon turning in your map, guests receive a mini character blind bag featuring one of five adorable character collectibles: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, or Stitch.

You can purchase game boards across the resort, but redemption is available at select anchor locations:

• Disneyland Park: Buy maps at locations like Pioneer Mercantile, The Star Trader, or Pooh Corner. Redeem at The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A.
• Disney California Adventure Park: Buy maps at Trolley Treats, Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, or Ramone’s. Redeem at Elias & Co.
• Downtown Disney District: Buy maps at Disney Home or Disney Storyland Boutique. Redeem at World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders.
• Disneyland Resort Hotels: Maps are also available at STOR-E (Pixar Place Hotel), Disney’s Fantasia Shop (Disneyland Hotel), and Acorns Gifts & Goods (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa).

Tip: Valid park admission and theme park reservations are required if you choose to hunt inside Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure.
