Death Eaters and Dark Arts Returning to Universal Orlando This Fall

The Dark Arts are returning to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort this fall, and it looks like things are about to get wonderfully wicked once again. As Universal celebrates the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film, guests will once again be able to encounter Death Eaters in Diagon Alley and watch Hogwarts Castle fall under the spell of some of the Wizarding World’s darkest forces.

Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle returns to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade from September 5 through November 1. The nighttime spectacular transforms Hogwarts Castle with projections, music, and plenty of dark magic as Dementors, Death Eaters, and other sinister creatures take over the castle. The show builds toward the arrival of Lord Voldemort, bringing one of Universal Orlando’s most atmospheric nighttime experiences back to Islands of Adventure.

Over at Universal Studios Florida, Death Eaters will once again descend upon Diagon Alley on select dates from August 27 through November 1. Guests wandering the streets can come face-to-face with Voldemort’s followers as they patrol Diagon Alley and attempt to determine exactly where your loyalties lie. Their return fits especially well with Halloween Horror Nights 35 beginning August 28, adding another layer of spooky season atmosphere to Universal Studios Florida even outside the event’s traditional scare zones.

Guests looking to fully embrace the darker side of the Wizarding World can also stop by Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley, where Dark Arts-inspired merchandise and plenty of unusual magical artifacts await. Between Death Eaters stalking Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Castle coming under attack after dark, fall is shaping up to be a particularly good time for fans who prefer their Wizarding World adventures with a little more darkness.

With Halloween Horror Nights, Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle, and the Death Eaters all arriving around the same time, Universal Orlando is giving Wizarding World fans plenty of reasons to keep their wands close this fall.
