Ewok Batuu Adventure Buddy Coming to Disneyland Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars fans, prepare your wallets because a seriously cute addition is landing at Disneyland Resort. A brand new line of interactive plush companions called Batuu Adventure Buddies is officially launching, bringing everyone’s favorite galactic creatures to life in the most adorable way possible. The collection kicks off on August 13, 2026, with the arrival of the Ewok Batuu Adventure Buddy, complete with its own convenient carrying sling, dropping exclusively at Droid Depot inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park.

These aren’t your average stuffed animals. Each buddy is packed with tech designed to make them feel like real sidekicks as you explore the park. They feature expressive LCD eyes, motorized facial movements, and signature character sounds. Thanks to responsive touch tech, your new fluffy friend reacts directly to your attention, patting its head or tapping its belly triggers unique interactions. If you give the Ewok three quick head taps, you’ll even unlock special animations like a full on “Dance Party” or a wild “Forest Call Chain.”

The immersion doesn’t stop with touch, either. These companions are accessory responsive, meaning they actively react whenever you place special items like galactic food, tools, or toys into their hands. You’ll be able to customize your little co-pilot with optional gear sets inspired by iconic Star Wars destinations. While the Ewok is leading the charge as the first of three planned buddies, East Coast fans and collector completists won’t have to wait too long. The remaining two companions will hit Disneyland Park later, with the entire collection eventually making its way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
