Disney Wish Returns to Port Canaveral Following Medical Emergency
The Disney Wish made an unexpected return to Port Canaveral on Monday, July 27, only a few hours after beginning its latest sailing due to a reported medical emergency onboard.

The ship had departed for a four-night Bahamian cruise scheduled to visit Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, and spend a day at sea before returning on July 31. Guests onboard reported that the ship turned around during the first dinner seating and returned to Florida so the passenger could receive medical care.
After leaving Port Canaveral again, the Disney Wish continued toward the Bahamas, but the scheduled stop in Nassau was reportedly removed from the itinerary. The change turned Tuesday into an additional day at sea, while excursions booked through Disney Cruise Line for Nassau are expected to be automatically refunded.

A similar situation was also reported aboard the Disney Treasure, which returned to Port Canaveral about an hour after embarkation on July 25 because of another medical emergency.
