The most noticeable activity is taking place inside Epic Universe, where crews continue assembling the steel framework for a large multipurpose building located in Celestial Park. Since last week’s aerial update, additional vertical and horizontal steel beams have been installed, giving the structure an even more recognizable shape. Construction materials remain staged throughout the site as crews continue building upward.

The building sits between Other Worlds Mercantile and Super Nintendo World, near a backstage bus loop and across from Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets. While Universal has yet to officially announce its purpose, permits indicate the project is a two-story, 53,886-square-foot venue with nearly 30,000 square feet of enclosed space and a construction value exceeding $20 million.

Based on those permit details, the venue is expected to accommodate approximately 1,200 to 1,400 guests and could host everything from corporate meetings and private receptions to media events and convention-related gatherings, adding another flexible offering to Universal Orlando’s growing resort destination.

The latest aerial images also show activity on a large parcel of land along Universal Boulevard, adjacent to Topgolf Orlando. The property has recently been mass graded and is now covered with drought-tolerant grass after being leveled and filled with sand. While the site is owned by Universal Orlando Resort, there are currently no announced construction projects planned for this specific area, suggesting it will remain available for future expansion when the time is right.

Universal has previously filed permits for additional attraction work elsewhere around Epic Universe, but this particular parcel appears to be serving as a long-term expansion pad rather than an active construction site.
