Disney Store Testing New AI Personal Shopping Assistant to Help Fans Find the Perfect Disney Merchandise
Shopping for Disney merchandise may soon get a little more magical. Disney Store has announced a new AI Personal Shopping Assistant pilot program that is beginning to roll out to select users through the Disney Store iOS app.

The new feature is designed to make it easier for fans to discover products, find gift ideas, and shop for their favorite Disney stories using natural conversation. Instead of endlessly scrolling through pages of merchandise, guests can chat with the AI assistant and receive personalized recommendations based on what they’re looking for. Whether you’re searching for the perfect birthday gift, planning a Disney Parks outfit, or hunting down the latest collectibles, the assistant aims to help narrow down the choices.
Disney says the AI Personal Shopping Assistant has been developed to align with the company’s brand voice, character knowledge, and extensive product catalog. The assistant can answer questions about merchandise, recommend products, and provide information on availability. Human customer service representatives will still be available for guests who prefer traditional support.

The new tool is currently available to select guests using the Disney Store iOS app with a registered Disney Store account. Disney plans to expand availability in the future, with Android users and web shoppers expected to receive access in the coming months.
