First Look Inside the Queen Suite at Universal Kids Resort Hotel

We’re on-site in Frisco, Texas for a special preview of the all-new Universal Kids Resort ahead of its July 1, 2026 grand opening, and we’ve officially checked into the colorful new Universal Kids Resort Hotel. After getting our first look inside one of the family-friendly Queen Suites, it’s clear this hotel was designed with young theme park fans in mind.

From the moment you walk through the door, the room bursts with bright colors and playful design touches that feel right at home with the resort’s kid-focused atmosphere. The suite features a queen bed for parents alongside a fun bunk bed setup for younger travelers, making it easy for families to stay together while maximizing space.

One of our favorite features is the built-in dining and lounge area near the entrance. The cushioned bench seating, colorful pillows, and round table create a perfect spot for enjoying snacks, planning the day’s adventures, or winding down after a visit to the park. The vibrant orange walls, yellow accents, and playful furniture details continue the cheerful theme throughout the room.

The suite also includes plenty of storage options, including a wardrobe with extra bedding and luggage racks, along with a large dresser beneath the television. The modern bathroom offers a bright vanity area with an illuminated mirror and a spacious shower, providing plenty of room for families getting ready for a day of fun.

Universal Kids Resort Hotel will feature 300 guest rooms and family suites, along with dining options designed to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Guests staying at the hotel will also receive exclusive perks including Early Park Admission, a dedicated entrance into Universal Kids Resort, and complimentary package delivery from park shops directly to the hotel.

With the hotel located just steps from the new theme park, families won’t have far to travel after a full day of adventures with beloved Universal characters. Based on our first look, Universal has created a bright, comfortable home base that feels every bit as playful as the park it serves.
