Near Drowning Incident Reported at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Emergency crews responded to a reported near-drowning incident at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Monday afternoon, June 15, according to reports from local emergency dispatch monitoring sources.

The call was reportedly received around 1:10 p.m., prompting a significant emergency response at the popular Walt Disney World hotel located just steps away from Magic Kingdom. Witnesses in the area observed multiple emergency vehicles positioned outside the resort, along with a medical helicopter that later departed from the scene.

At this time, Disney has not released an official statement regarding the incident, and details about the individual involved have not been made public. The exact location of the emergency has also not been confirmed. However, based on the positioning of emergency responders near the front of the resort, it is believed the incident may have occurred in one of the hotel’s pool areas located behind the main tower.
