According to the latest update on the official Disneyland website, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters will officially reopen on Friday, June 12.
The Tomorrowland favorite has been closed for refurbishment since April 2026. While Disney hasn’t shared explicit details about the work done, this closure is expected to be a standard tune-up rather than a massive overhaul. Unlike the recent, extensive refurbishment of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Walt Disney World—which brought brand-new ride vehicles, refreshed scenes, and updated targets to the East Coast—the Disneyland version likely just received general interior maintenance.

As an added bonus for shoppers, the nearby Little Green Men Store Command shop has already quietly reopened its doors to guests, though a bit of construction scrim is still temporarily covering the outside facade.
