Happy Ice is Heading to Downtown Disney
Get ready to cool down in the most colorful way possible! A vibrant new treat is heading to the Disneyland Resort this month, and it is bringing a massive wave of flavor with it.
Happy Ice, Los Angeles’ #1 premium Philadelphia Italian ice brand, is officially bringing its famous handcrafted frozen dessert experience to the Downtown Disney District with the opening of an all-new cart!

Founded in 2017 by Philadelphia native Lemeir Mitchell, Happy Ice started as a single food truck cruising the streets of LA. Thanks to its fruit-forward flavors, high-energy atmosphere, and an incredibly loyal fanbase, it quickly grew into a full-blown cultural phenomenon. Now, the brand is leveling up to bring its most elevated experience yet to Disney guests.
The upcoming Downtown Disney location isn’t just a new spot to grab a snack—it will actually debut Happy Ice’s first fully all-natural menu.
Guests can look forward to handcrafted Philadelphia water ice made with:
- Real fruit
- Pure cane sugar
- Premium ingredients
- Completely free from high-fructose corn syrup and artificial dyes!
Alongside their classic water ice, the Downtown Disney cart will introduce guests to the JOY-LATI. This brand-new layered dessert features smooth Italian ice, vanilla sweet cream, premium sauces, fresh fruit, and nostalgic flavors like Banana Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake.
You can also look forward to exclusive new specialty flavors, including Berry Bonanza and Cloud 9, alongside fruit-based sauces and special monthly rotating exclusives.
When does it open? An exact opening date hasn’t been set just yet, but the cart is officially scheduled to open its shutters this month!
