Alan Cumming Signs On to Voice an Evil Talking Bullseye in Toy Story 5

Alan Cumming is officially joining the cast of Toy Story 5 for an exciting cameo appearance. The actor will voice the “Evil Bullseye” character, bringing Bullseye’s mischievous playtime alter ego to life on the big screen.

While Woody’s trusty horse remains famously silent in the real world, Alan Cumming will step in to voice “Evil Bullseye” during a hilarious playtime sequence born from Blaze’s imagination. Joining the franchise is a dream come true for the Scottish actor, author, and singer, who counts Woody as his favorite character. Cumming admitted he absolutely adored the previous Toy Story films and never actually expected to become a part of the universe himself. He joked that landing the cameo is definitely going to give him some great kudos with his friends’ kids.

Widely recognized for hosting the hit reality series The Traitors and for his Emmy-nominated role as Eli Gold on CBS’s The Good Wife, Cumming boasts a diverse career that spans blockbuster films and a celebrated Broadway run.

The classic crew is back together as Tom Hanks returns as Woody, Tim Allen reports for duty as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack saddles up once again as Jessie. They will be joined by an exciting lineup of new and returning voices, including Conan O’Brien as a toilet-training tech toy named Smarty Pants and Greta Lee as Lilypad. In a bittersweet passing of the torch, Ernie Hudson is taking over the role of Combat Carl from the late Carl Weathers. Additionally, Blake Clark is expected to return as Slinky Dog, a role he famously stepped into after the passing of Jim Varney in 2000.

Fans can expect a very modern conflict this time around. According to the official film description, the gang will face their biggest hurdle yet when their traditional jobs as playthings are challenged by a new wave of electronic devices that kids are completely obsessed with today.
