Muppets Take the Stage at Hollywood Studios with Exclusive Passholder Previews

​The wait is nearly over for fans of Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem. Walt Disney World has officially announced that Annual Passholders will be among the first to experience the reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Following a significant period of transformation, the high-speed coaster is ready to return with a brand-new theme.

Disney has confirmed that Passholder previews will take place on May 21, 22, and 23, 2026. This exclusive window offers a sneak peek before the attraction officially opens to the general public on May 26.​

What to Expect from the Reimagined Classic​

While the track and its signature 0-to-57 mph launch remain the same, the experience has been completely overhauled to fit the Muppets universe.​

The Storyline – Guests enter G-Force Records, now under the management of Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse. The Electric Mayhem is prepping for a massive Hollywood concert and needs you to help transport their equipment.​

New Animatronics – The pre-show features an advanced Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, assisted by a team of penguin audio engineers.​

The Soundtrack – Riders will blast off to a high-energy setlist featuring Muppet classics and rock-heavy tracks like “Can You Picture That?”​

Visual Overhaul – The iconic 40-foot electric guitar outside the attraction has received a “psychedelic glow-up,” trading its classic red finish for a vibrant, neon-glitter palette that matches the band’s aesthetic.

​Registration Details

​Passholders should monitor their email and the My Disney Experience app for registration links. These preview slots are limited and are expected to fill up quickly. This transformation marks a new chapter for Sunset Boulevard, blending the Muppets’ signature humor with one of Disney’s most intense thrill rides.
