Soarin’ Queue Gets Major Carpet Upgrade at EPCOT
The queue for Soarin’ Around the World at EPCOT is receiving a fresh aesthetic update with the installation of brand-new carpeting. To ensure guest operations are not impacted, the new flooring is being laid in stages during overnight hours. This design refresh arrives just weeks before the attraction officially transforms into Soarin’ Across America on May 26, 2026.

The initial section of the queue has been updated with new carpeting featuring a tan and gray geometric pattern composed of curved and straight lines. Meanwhile, the remainder of the queue still features the original beige blocky pattern, which has become visibly faded from years of guest traffic.

Soarin’ Around the World is scheduled to close on May 14, 2026, to prepare for its upcoming transformation. Following a series of cast member previews, the new attraction, Soarin’ Across America, will officially debut to the public on May 26, 2026.
This limited-time experience is designed to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The flight will take guests on a journey over iconic American cityscapes and natural wonders, such as the Grand Canyon, accompanied by a brand-new original score and immersive scents.
