Magic Key Holders Encouraged to Join the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park

Calling all Magic Key holders! It’s time to lace up your walking shoes and unlock the magic of giving. The 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park is officially returning to the Disneyland Resort on Sunday, August 2, 2026, and the Disneyland Resort Magic Key team wants you to be part of the celebration.

This isn’t just a stroll through the parks—it’s the largest and most unique pediatric fundraiser in the nation, dedicated to supporting the life-changing work at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

For 34 years, the CHOC Walk has been a pillar of the Southern California community, raising over $46 million to support healthcare, research, and education for children in need. Your participation ensures that every child receives world-class medical care, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Last year, the Magic Key team was a force to be reckoned with, boasting over 300 participants who raised a staggering $80,000! This year, the goal is to dream even bigger and show the community the true heart of the Magic Key family.

When you join the CHOC Walk, you aren’t just visiting the parks; you’re experiencing them in a way few others do. Participants will enjoy a 5K stroll through both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park before they open to the public.

Along the route, you’ll find:

• Unique Photo Ops: Snap photos in areas usually off-limits or seen from a different perspective.
• Character Cheer: Some of your favorite Disney friends will be out in force to cheer you on as you make your way toward the finish line!

While the real reward is helping local children, the Disneyland Resort has a few “thank you” gifts for the Magic Key team’s top supporters:

• Rally Towel: All team members who reach the required fundraising minimum by event check-in will receive a special Magic Key CHOC Walk rally towel.
• The Grand Prize: The top fundraiser on the Magic Key team (who is a U.S. resident, 18+) will receive a complimentary one-night stay for themselves and up to three guests in a Standard View – Club Level room at the Disneyland Hotel! (Value: $1,134).

Registration is open exclusively to active Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders. Once you’ve joined the team, you can even invite non-Magic Key friends and family to join you—the more, the merrier!

• Fundraising Minimum: Each participant must raise at least $125 by the time of event check-in to attend. This can be met through personal donations, sponsors, or a mix of both.
