Disney Launches Groundbreaking Infinity Vision Cinema Experience

Get ready to upgrade your movie-going experience! During a major presentation at CinemaCon 2026, The Walt Disney Studios officially pulled back the curtain on Infinity Vision—a brand-new certification designed to help you find the absolute best theater seats in the galaxy.

In partnership with global theater chains, this new label will act as a “gold star” for auditoriums, signaling to fans exactly where they can find the biggest screens and the most immersive technology.

Think of Infinity Vision as Disney’s way of ensuring you see their blockbusters exactly as the filmmakers intended. To earn the Infinity Vision badge, a theater must meet a set of “rigorous technical standards,” including:

• Massive Scale: Only the largest premium screens qualify.
• Crystal Clear Visuals: State-of-the-art laser projection for superior brightness and sharp detail.
• Immersive Audio: The latest premium sound formats to put you right in the middle of the action.

With over 300 global screens (including 75 in the U.S.) already meeting these high bars, fans can easily spot the Infinity Vision logo when booking tickets online or at the box office.

You won’t have to wait long to experience the difference. Disney is launching Infinity Vision with two of the biggest Marvel events in history:

• Avengers: Endgame Re-Release (September 2026): Revisit the epic conclusion of the Infinity Saga on the grandest scale possible. Word on the street is this re-release will even include brand-new, never-before-seen footage!
• Avengers: Doomsday (December 2026): When the next chapter of the Avengers arrives this winter, Infinity Vision will be the premier way to see Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU.
