Disney Shares First Look at Han Solo Coming to Galaxy’s Edge
Disney has unveiled a first look at the Han Solo meet-and-greet character, who is set to make a highly anticipated debut at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. This legendary smuggler will soon be roaming Black Spire Outpost, bringing a new level of original trilogy nostalgia to the immersive land.
Sporting his signature look, Solo appears in his classic blue vest, off-white shirt, and rugged brown trousers, complete with his trusty blaster and holster. A newly released social media clip captures a heartwarming reunion between the captain and Chewbacca right in front of the Millennium Falcon. Fans can also look forward to meeting Princess Leia near the iconic freighter when the land’s timeline officially shifts on April 29.
The Millennium Falcon sector of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to undergo a major thematic transformation, shifting its setting to the original trilogy era. This change brings legendary icons like Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Darth Vader to the streets of Batuu. While the scoundrels and heroes of the rebellion take over the spaceport, the Resistance Camp will continue to operate within the sequel trilogy timeline.
This official timeline shift is scheduled to take effect on April 29.
