Disney Shares First Look at the Electric Mayhem Performance for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

As the transformation of the G-Force Records building continues, Disney is giving fans a sneak peek at the main event. New photos have been released showing Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem performing one of their most iconic tracks, which is set to serve as the high-energy finale for the reimagined attraction.

The band is seen performing “Can You Picture That?”, a fan-favorite song that originally debuted in 1979’s The Muppet Movie. In the new attraction, this performance represents the “sold out show” the band has been racing to attend throughout the ride.

Based on the first-look images, the performance will likely be featured on a massive screen at the conclusion of the coaster. This follows the tradition of the original Aerosmith version of the ride, where the band was seen performing in concert above the photo redemption area as guests exited their super-stretch limousines.

While the track and coaster layout remain the same, the visual overhaul is significant. The “sold out show” finale is just one part of a larger update that includes a brand-new pre-show featuring Scooter and a team of audio-engineer penguins.

By using “Can You Picture That?”—a song famously played while the Muppets were painting a car in their first feature film—Imagineers are leaning heavily into the classic, colorful Muppet aesthetic that fans have loved for decades.

With today’s reveal of “Can You Picture That?” and the earlier announcements of Blur’s “Song 2” and “Born to be Wild,” the soundtrack for the Muppetized coaster is coming together quickly. Fans are eagerly awaiting the major announcement scheduled for April 16, which is expected to provide the full list of tracks and perhaps an official opening date for the summer.
