The Electric Mayhem and Camilla the Chicken Reveal Second Song for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

The road trip to the Electric Mayhem’s biggest concert ever just got a little more “cluck-tastic.” Disney has officially confirmed that the second song on the rotating setlist for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is the classic rock anthem, “Born To Be Wild.”

A Wild New Cover

While the original Steppenwolf track is a staple of rock radio, this version will feature the unique stylings of The Electric Mayhem. In a fun twist, Disney also revealed that Camilla the Chicken will be featured prominently in this version of the song. Knowing Camilla’s history of “performance art” alongside Great Gonzo, fans can expect some high-energy clucking to accompany the iconic guitar riffs as the coaster blasts from 0 to 57 mph.

The Growing Setlist

This is the second track revealed during Disney’s week-long “countdown to the concert.” It joins Blur’s “Song 2,” which was announced earlier this week as the first confirmed track. Much like the previous Aerosmith version of the ride, each “limousine” (train) is expected to feature a different high-energy song, giving the attraction immense re-rideability.

The Story So Far

In the new storyline for the attraction, guests are visiting G-Force Records, which is now under new Muppet management (thanks to Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse). While the Electric Mayhem is supposed to be across town at their concert, they are actually stuck in the recording studio jamming with a team of penguin audio engineers.

As Scooter desperately tries to get the band moving, guests board a Muppet-themed limousine to race across Hollywood. The “Born To Be Wild” track is a perfect fit for the “motorcycle” energy of the classic rock era that the Muppets love to parody.

What’s Next?

Disney is continuing to reveal songs “one track at a time” leading up to a major announcement on Thursday, April 16. Rumors are swirling that this announcement will include the full setlist, additional character cameos, and perhaps even that highly anticipated opening date.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is currently on track for a Summer 2026 debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
