11 New Disney Legends Announced, Including Bob Iger and Jerry Bruckheimer

Get ready to celebrate the best of the best! Disney just dropped the full list of 2026 Disney Legends inductees, with Bob Iger headlining the incredible group of 11 honorees. The magic all goes down on Sunday, August 16, when Ryan Seacrest returns to host the official induction ceremony at the Honda Center to close out an epic D23 weekend.

Established to honor the visionaries behind the magic, the Disney Legends program recognizes the animators, Imagineers, actors, and leaders who have left an indelible mark on the Disney legacy. Originally chaired by the late Roy E. Disney, the selection committee chooses honorees whose work defines excellence in storytelling and innovation.

The physical Disney Legends award features three symbolic elements that represent the essence of these contributions:

• The Spiral: Symbolizes imagination and the raw power of a great idea.
• The Hand: Represents the discipline and craftsmanship required to bring those ideas to life.
• The Wand and the Star: Signifies the magic created when imagination and skill unite to spark a brand-new dream.
