Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Will Debut With Early Entry, Extended Hours, and Lightning Lane Access
Cue the cymbals and crank up the chaos because Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is about to get a full Muppet makeover and a VIP treatment to match. When Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels will have a few extra ways to catch the Electric Mayhem before the standby crowd even hits the queue.

Disney has confirmed the reimagined attraction will be available during Early Theme Park Entry, giving all on-site guests a head start each morning, as well as Extended Evening Hours for those staying at Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts. Hollywood Studios doesn’t often host Extended Evening Hours, so when it does, this coaster could become the hottest late-night ticket in town. On top of that, the attraction will remain a Tier 1 selection for Lightning Lane Multi Pass, meaning it will be one of the most in-demand picks when planning your day.
Inside the story, guests will once again step into G-Force Records for a backstage tour, but this time, things are getting delightfully unhinged thanks to the Electric Mayhem. The studio has been purchased by Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse, who puts Scooter in charge, and yes, he appears in animatronic form in the pre-show. Expect appearances from Kermit, Miss Piggy, and a flock of chaotic penguin audio engineers as the band gears up for their big performance.

To make it to the concert on time, guests will board limousines enhanced by Muppet Labs, blasting through a ride filled with familiar Hollywood landmarks now reimagined with that signature Muppet flair and a soundtrack packed with Electric Mayhem jams.
If this coaster already felt like a backstage pass to rock ‘n’ roll, it’s about to feel more like a full-on Muppet jam session with a turbo boost. Between the added resort perks and the all-new storyline, this is shaping up to be one wild ride that’s equal parts thrill and felt-covered frenzy.
