Flower & Garden Is Sprouting Early at EPCOT with Surprise Topiary Appearances

We might still be savoring paint palettes and Broadway vibes at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but over at EPCOT, spring is clearly not waiting for the calendar to flip. The 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival officially runs March 4 through June 1, yet some of this year’s topiaries have already started popping up like they could not wait another second.

Guests strolling near the Canada Pavilion are now being greeted by an early arrival that feels straight out of the forest. Bambi, Flower, and Thumper have quietly taken their places, turning a casual World Showcase walk into a woodland meet and greet. It is always a treat to see the intricate details up close, and spotting them weeks before the festival begins feels like catching the rehearsal before opening night.

Over in World Celebration, another fan favorite duo has sprung to life. Phineas and Ferb are already on display, adding a splash of animated mischief to the promenade. Seeing topiaries this early is not the norm, but it certainly builds anticipation for what is shaping up to be a stacked Flower & Garden lineup.

Disney has already confirmed that this year will include more than 60 topiaries throughout the park, featuring characters from Toy Story, Mike and Sulley, Figment, Encanto, The Lion King, Mickey and friends, Lightning McQueen and Mater, Groot, and more. Add in four new gardens including Pluto’s Pet Friendly Garden, Wildlife Crossing Garden, Trendy Tropicals Garden, and the Rain or Shine Fruit Stand presented by Outshine, and it is clear that EPCOT is planting the seeds for a full bloom celebration.

If you are visiting before March 4, keep your eyes peeled because more topiaries could appear at any moment. Flower & Garden season is clearly warming up, and EPCOT is wasting no time getting the party planted.
