Bob Iger and Josh D’Amaro Take a Walk Through Disneyland After CEO Announcement
Talk about a symbolic stroll. Bob Iger and Josh D’Amaro were spotted together at Disneyland this morning, just hours after the announcement that D’Amaro will officially become the next CEO of The Walt Disney Company. The two executives toured the park side by side, giving Disney fans a real-world passing of the torch moment right on Main Street, U.S.A.

Iger himself shared photos from the visit on social media, calling it the perfect way to celebrate D’Amaro’s appointment. D’Amaro is set to step into the CEO role following Disney’s Annual Meeting on March 18, 2026, at which point he will also be appointed to Disney’s Board of Directors. Iger, meanwhile, is not disappearing into the utilidor just yet. He will remain on as a Senior Advisor and Board member through the end of 2026, offering guidance as the company navigates its next chapter.

The timing and location of the visit feel intentionally poetic. Disneyland is where Disney leadership often makes its most symbolic appearances, and seeing the outgoing and incoming CEOs walking the park together sends a clear message of continuity.
