EPCOT’s Refreshment Port Goes Down for Refurbishment and Festival Food Fans May Feel the Pinch
A quiet refurbishment is brewing at EPCOT and snack lovers are already side-eyeing their festival plans. The Refreshment Port, best known for poutine and festival-friendly drinks, officially went under refurbishment starting January 12 with no reopening date announced.

That timing is raising eyebrows since the EPCOT Festival of the Arts runs through February 23, making it very likely that Refreshment Port will sit out the entire event. In past years, this booth dished out favorites like traditional and caprese poutine, a jumbo chocolate chip cookie, and drinks like the Boyd & Blair Blood Orange Cosmo.

The bigger concern is likely what comes next, because if this refurbishment stretches on, Refreshment Port could also miss the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival which runs March 4 through June 1, leaving EPCOT without a dedicated poutine stop for multiple festivals in a row.
While nearby festival booths in Canada and sweet stops like Swirled Showcase can help soften the blow, this closure removes a reliable comfort food anchor that many guests build their snack strategy around. For now, festival fans will need to keep their forks flexible and their expectations realistic while Disney stays quiet on a reopening timeline.
