New Generic Menu Revealed for Harambe Market Reopening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Harambe Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is gearing up to reopen its doors on March 1, 2026, and when it does, it will be serving up a brand-new, pretty generic menu.
Disney has officially updated the dining location’s description, confirming a shift from its previous African-inspired street food focus to more “classic staples.” This change comes just as the park prepares for the permanent closure of Restaurantosaurus on February 1st to make way for the new Tropical Americas land. With a major quick-service location closing, Harambe Market is stepping up to help absorb the dining crowds with familiar favorites.

What’s on the Menu? The updated menu is designed to appeal to guests of all ages, featuring standard theme park classics alongside lighter options.

Guests visiting the open-air plaza can look forward to:
- Angus Burgers
- Crispy Chicken Strips (New to this location!)
- Harissa Chicken Wrap
- Signature Salad (Mixed greens, lentils, carrots, and couscous)
- Desserts, Beer, and Soft Drinks

Kitchen Upgrades If you have walked by Harambe Market recently, you may have noticed construction walls are still up. Behind the scenes, crews are working to update the kitchen, specifically adding frying capabilities to the kiosks. This upgrade is what allows for the addition of those crispy chicken strips and fries—items that were not previously available at this location.
While the market itself is currently closed, the outdoor seating area remains open for guests grabbing a bite from nearby locations like Flame Tree Barbecue or Pizzafari.

Harambe Market officially welcomes travelers back on March 1, 2026.
